Who We Are

Mercer County Humane Society is located in the same building as the animal control office. Located on Moberly Road in Harrodsburg, the shelter is open and pets are available to be viewed for adoption from 10-4 pm Monday-Friday and 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday. If there is a pet that you would like to see, and can't come during business hours, then please let us know on a Wednesday, and we will do our best to arrange that dog pulled into temporary foster care for the weekend. Our number one priority is quality adoptions!

The directions to the shelter are: From US 127 North, turn west on Tapp Road (across from Dairy Queen). Go to the second stop sign (approx. 7/10 of a mile). Turn left onto Moberly Road. Go approx. 3/10 of a mile and turn right into the Mercer County Service Complex. As you approach the buildings, bear left & then bear right. We are all the way in the back.
